WE ARE SLOW FASHION
At Better The Label, we stand for slow fashion. This means we produce in small, intentional batches, a conscious alternative to mass production.
We don’t believe in endless stock or overconsumption. Each piece is limited and crafted with time, love, and attention to detail. When something sells out, it won’t be immediately restocked. That’s part of our rhythm: slower, gentler, and more sustainable.

Some of our garments are made from deadstock fabrics — leftover materials from fashion houses or factories that would otherwise go to waste. Instead of ending up in landfills, they’re given new life through our designs.
We also work with organic cotton and linen, which are both kind to your skin and the planet.
Organic cotton is grown without synthetic chemicals, preserving the natural strength of the fibers. It’s breathable, resilient, and holds up well through repeated washes when properly cared for. Plus, it helps reduce odor and sweat stains — extending your garment’s life.
Linen is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence. Made from flax, it’s naturally biodegradable, requires minimal water and chemicals, and is known for its strength and breathability. Though it wrinkles easily, we embrace that as part of its raw, elegant beauty.
Still, no matter the quality, your care matters. Our garments will last longer if you treat them with love.
TIMELESS FASHION
We don’t chase trends. Not because we’re against them, but because we believe in building a wardrobe that feels right now and 20 years from now. Our pieces are designed to be timeless, seasonless, and soul-aligned 🤎
MANUFACTURING
Every Better garment is made in the north of Portugal, in small, ethical factories. All workers are paid fairly and treated with respect. We believe true sustainability starts with people.
WE ARE CIRCULAR
We save all leftover fabrics from production. Depending on their size, we either repurpose them into new pieces or send them to responsible textile recycling.
Our production team also carefully manages fabric usage from the start, ensuring thoughtful pattern placement and minimal waste throughout the process.
We believe that every resource matters. By designing with intention and reusing wherever possible, we aim to close the loop and extend the life of every material we work with, honoring both people and the planet.
PACKAGING
Our packaging is made from 90% recycled corrugated cardboard, designed to protect your pieces with minimal environmental impact.
The Thank You and Therapy Cards included in each order are printed on FSC®-certified paper (Forest Stewardship Council® chain of custody) and contain 40% post-consumer recycled cellulose, helping to reduce our overall carbon footprint.
We also avoid using disposable tissue paper. Instead, we lovingly wrap each garment in deadstock fabrics — leftover materials that we can’t use in production due to unknown composition, but that we choose to repurpose rather than discard.
